I happened across a meeting of fire appliance collectors, who were playing with their toys in a river-side car park. Here's just three of the dozens of beautifully restored machines that were on show.

The Pennsylvanian
This impressive building, completed in 1902, was originally the offices and station for the Pennsylvanian Railroad. It has now been converted into offices and apartments. I live here!

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio is housed in an impressive glass building. They wouldn't let me take any pictures inside!

This railway bridge, known locally as the "Iron Curtain" carries the Norfolk and Southern Railroad across the Cuyahoga River. It is lowered for trains to cross and raised to allow shipping to pass underneath.

The inaugural meeting of the Pittsburgh Branch of the Payday Curry Club International. The gang enjoyed good food in the India Garden, Oakland, and then adjourned for beer and pool in Cumpie's.
