Two interesting museums in Leicester - First, the National Space Centre, which is housed in this unusual new building:
A number of interesting exhibits...
On the left, an American Thor/Able rocket and on the right a British Blue Streak.
Next door, in a former sewage pumping station is the Science and Technology Museum.
The old pumping engines are operated occasionally, but not on the day of my visit, unfortunately.
